At Cob House Fisheries, we pride ourselves on producing quality coarse fish for restocking. We specialise in English bred Common and Mirror Carp, Tench, Chub, Bream and True Crucian Carp for commercial angling, however can obtain other species for stocking into your ponds.
Our fry are grown on in our specially built fry ponds on our farm in Worcestershire. When they are large enough they are moved into our growing ponds on site at Cob House. We breed a variety of fish and can also supply other coarse species if required, which we obtain from a reputable source we know we can trust.
We have built a great reputation throughout the country, especially for our beautifully scaled English Mirror Carp, which are sought by our customers in preference to the leather Carp offered by many other stock fish suppliers.
We do not claim to be 'Britain's largest fish farm' or 'the countries biggest supplier of coarse fish'. We do however, offer generously sized, hand-graded, disease free English bred stock fish at competitive prices and a top quality service.
We are a C.E.F.A.S. registered fish farm and all our stock fish are fully health checked according to Environment Agency and C.E.F.A.S requirements, including testing negative for KHV and SVC.
We provide the Section 30 required to stock your fish free of charge. You will need to have registered your ponds with CEFAS and you can so this by going to the http://www.defra.gov.uk/aahm/ website, you will need from RW1. This can take some time to get the registration so it is worth doing as yearly as possible, it is completely free. Once this is completed we are able to obtain the Section 30 for your stocking.
